Convenient to our grandsons and favorite Portland places. Not too expensive.
A little shabby, but that's OK. The group upstairs laughed and talked until 4:10 a.m., which was annoying, so take earplugs!

It was clean and comfortable for the rate.
Not in a great area but nobody bothered us or the car. Just a good overnight type place, no services so to speak.

I liked the location, it had everything I needed, within a short walk. Bus to downtown runs every 15 minutes, walmart, starbucks, us bank, convenience store, walgreens, fast food, couple bars all within a 5 minute leisurely walk. I liked the cleaning staff, they seemed to take their jobs very seriously, and did keep the room very clean.
a) Reservation thru Booked.net made for a King Sized Bed - smoking- for 6 nights. I got there and all the smoking rooms given away, had to take a non smoking room, and move rooms the next day. b) Business Amenities b1) Desk: The first night at hotel, when was put into non smoking room, there was a reasonably adequate desk in room, big enough to setup and use a laptop. After move to the much smaller smoking room, it had little circular tables instead of a desk. They allowed me to move desk from previous room in, your mileage may vary on that. b2) Power: Lots of power outlets in room, but a few of the room outlets were in completely unacceptable condition. Dangerously unacceptable, as in no "grip" on the plug when you plug in, could not even charge my iPhone because the plug kept falling out, c) Heating Cooling: Temperatures are preset, you have the choice between Heating - Off - Cooling. Knobs for adjusting temperature, and such left on the unit, but trust me, they just for show. d) Breakfast: Orange Juice/Coffee and a pastry e) Bathing: e1):Tub/Shower and Commode are in 1 room, bathroom sink in main room, poor design, unsanitary. e2): Little itty bitty shampoo bottles

The thing I liked most about this place was how clean the room was and that it didn't have a funky smell.
The mattress was extremely stiff and it was hard to fall asleep. The noise of the traffic outside is also a huge downfall!

what they call breakfast is very bad. Because breakfast the hotel is very important for people on tight schedule. Having a separate area for breakfast would help. Even after booking in advance, gave my flight details, when I reached the hotel I was told rooms are not available and to come back after 3 hours, where will a guy visiting from outside the country go and come back after 3 hours! Wifi connectivity was not good as connection keep disconnecting in between.
